I'VE GOT A PROBLEM WITH MY 86 CHEVY CAMARO 305 4BARROL CARB WHEN THEN SECOND SET OF BUTTER FLYES OPEN THEN CAR BOGS AND DYES THEN THE CAR WON'T TURN BACK OVER WITH OUT WOT AND THEN I LET IF OFF AND IT DYES AGAIN REPLACED ABOUT EVERY TUNE UP THING AND PUT A 600 CFM ELDERBROCK CARB ON IT AND STILL DID IT NOT SURE WHATS GOING ON AND IT ALMOST SEEMS LIKE THE VACUME IS BLOWING INSTEAD OF SUCKING

Problem is, you've got a computer controlled Q-Jet, and they flat out suck. Could be the problem is one of the sensors in the carb has gone bad.

I'm wondering if the distributor's not giving enough advance when the secondaries open, so the car's dying. The fact the car will only start at WOT after this happens is the key to figuring out what the problem is.

How do the plugs look? Any signs of the motor running too rich?
