I have a chevy 454 and I have to replace the flexplate and was wondering if anyone knows how to tell if I need one for a 2 piece rear main seal or a 1 piece rear main seal. Would it say on the old flexplate or is there a standard. Thanks for the help.

Seal style depends on the year of the engine. I don't the year they were changed though, sorry. Perhaps someone will chime in.
