I've got a 1987 chevy truck with a fuel injected 305 i'm swapping it for a fuel injected 454 wondering if the computer will work or not i've been told both also do i need to get a new fuel pump

The computer box is the same, you need to swap the eprom chip from the 454 into the computer box for the 305.
The only thing I'm not sure of is, if the engine harness for the 305 will swap over to the 454. You might have to lengthen some of the wires for the sensors.

Well i can't get the chip from that so is there any aftermarket places i can get one?
