I just bought a 327 that i help build a few years ago. It has a set of trick flow twisted wedge heads with 180CC intake and 13* canted exhaust valve Lunati cam .480"/230* on 109cl and 1.6 rockers 9.5 cr (approx) 1.625-1.75 stepped headers 3" collector and 2.5" exhaust 4.11 gears and a th350 2400 stall converter, the car is my 63 "B/FX" Chevy II sedan, it should have a curb weight of approx 2800#. The two intakes I have on hand are a Stealth and a x-cellerator single plain. Witch one would be better??? ThankX

I say go the conservative and stick with the dual plane, but if you have them on hand you could always test out each...
With that mild cam and low compression your rpm's shouldn't be above 6000 so there isn't much room for the single plane to work.

That cam is not all that mild in a little 327, and 6.5 is not low compression either, it is about all I can safely run on pump gas. Every build up I have read duel plane's start dropping power at 5500, where single planes pick it up. This car is limited street and only weighs about 2800#. I can afford to trade some torque for some HP.

run the single plane with a 1 inch tapered Wilson spacer, improves torque and hp through the rpm range.see how that works, justa idea...
