I can't believe nobody has logged onto chat up F-bodys.  

I love my F-bodys. My current build is a 77 that I got cheap because of condition. Plan on racing it a season, then pull it apart and build it to sell. The engine is done (383 of course). Just getting the wheel tubs and suspension finished up so I can get the ponies to hook up. I'll keep you posted on the track times.  

Mustangs huh? i dont know about that noise. Ill still take my Chevy.  

well it is true in stock form the cameros where good in the 67-69 era in hp over the stang but if you get a new 07 gt500 and the general dont make one in 07 yet
id take the o7 gt500 over the 08 camero any day.. when dod the general make a true muscle car  camero look back in history way far back  

My origial post was to hopefully stir up some action for Camaro guys to respond to. I guess it kinda worked.
In response to hot_rod_mike,  the only time I've ever lost to a Mustang, was with a brand new 71' Vega. I bought the Vega with the intent to put a 350 in it. After 2 months I decided the little bugger would prob. self distruct, so I put a turbo on the little 4-banger, added cam, better carb, and headers. The guy with the Stang wouldn't race me again. Go figure. As far as the 07' Stang to 08' Camaro comparason. We Chevy nuts will see if the General is listening to us. If Chevy offers the LSX in full trim..........GAME OVER>  

every year that gm and ford makes cars gm always has a more powerfull model that will beat the ford, hands down. if you bring a taurus ill get a malibu if you bring a crown vic il bring an impala if you bring a stang ill bring a vette if you bring a ford gt ill bring a zo6 with an ls7 and ill smoke you every time the only reason you can buy a powerfull ford at a cheaper price is because the interior sucks the seats are generally uncomfortable and are designed for someone 7ft tall or someone 4ft tall im 5'9 and i couldnt find a ford that had decent seats
theres a reason shelby redo's new stangs, because they suck from factory, shelby is working with smthing thats dead on arival
personally id like to open a chevy dealership and do like yenko did and sell people cars that are ready to rip.  

Well i tell ya, Ive made my share of wisecracks bout the big 3,but in my opinion when those little f'n crackerbox pos's from across the water started showin their faces on the track,it made the American Pride come out of me.Yall wanta dis on Ford,Dodge,Chev.Them little *** cars are startin ta kick are ass.And Im not happy bout it.Drag racin started befor them little shits even new what HP was.Now their usin our own ideas to beat us on the track.Friend of mine told me bout the 3000 gt mitsubitchy puts out,beat a 2005 Saleen hands down.Now that just isnt right.Fords finest put down,not by our own.If its a V8,made in the USA im for it.And I have owned all of them.Ford,Mopar,Chevy.,Olds,Buick,Pontiac. big and small blocks alike.  

Well I do know my 95 Corvette will make my buddies 07 muskrat GT look very silly. My 89 IROC will outcorner it but it has been seriously modded. As for the "new" unavailable Camaro, LS's are awesome but someone needs to remember what a Camaro is supposed to look like. After hoping and dreaming I saw the pics and decided to restore my IROC. GM better remember the "new" GTO tradgedy. The performance was there, but it was butt ugly. Just my .02 T tops Rule!

I'm all in for honda's!!! There is no american made car that you can add horsepower as easily as a honda. Stickers, wings and muffler tips. See for every inch your wing is off the trunk, thats 100hp. and every layer is a multiplying factor. So you slap a tripple decker wing 7 inches off the trunk to your honda and you easly have 2100hp. you dont even need a motor! stickers 20-50 hp depending on size and flashlyness. and 75 for mufflertip. I dont think any chevys fords or mopars can do that...
