I have a B&M blower that I want to install on my 350. I'm am not sure of the size, but I do know it is of the smaller series of B&Ms lineup, 140, 142, 147 etc. I plan on using 68cc alum heads w/ 2.05 intake and 1.60 exh valves in place of the stock heads. The engine is an '88 350 TPI (w/out the TPI, engine is now carb'd) with a couple aftermarket bolt ons, intake and carb pretty much. Will this setup be ok or should i use larger heads to lower comp. ratio a bit more. As i said before the engine is pretty much stock but is a strong runner and only has about 70-80k miles on it.
Also, any ideas for what size carb i would run? i currently have an Edelbrock 1406 that is only about a year old.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
