Bellhousing bolt pattern

Hello!

I’m building a Volvo PV 544 for dragracing and I’m going to use a TH-400 with a turbocharged Volvo engine. The problem is the adapter plate. I’ve got a technical drawing of the Volvo bolt pattern, but haven’t found anything satisfying of the Chevrolet transmissions.

I found a drawing on the internet with just 2 decimals and that doesn’t seem very accurate. At least not for the dowel pins position against crank centerline. I wan't them to be right on the CAD-drawing.

Does anyone know where to get a better drawing of the Chevrolet bellhousing bolt pattern?

I hope you understand what I mean and have time to help me!

Thanks

Hi Lars,
I, too, am looking for the dimensions of the bell housing dowel pins and mounting holes in relation to crank centerline of a small block Chevy.  The drawing that I have found also only has two decimal places. The drawing indicates that the dowel location is 2.32" up from crank centerline and 7.69" on each side of the crank centerline.  If you were able to get any better information, please share that with me.  Thanks a bunch.
Sincerely,
Tim
