im building a chevy 350 with 9.5to1 pistons fullie heads 1.6 exhaust 205 intake heads with a 294/294 525/525 solid cam solid lifts a tunnel ram 2 450 hollys. i was seeing if any1 would know a round bout horsepower and bout what size stall i sshould run got a 350 trans  

I would estimate around 435-450 peak horsepower. The big cam, low compression, and a tunnel ram manifold should narrow the power band significantly. I'd say a 3500 or maybe even 4000 stall.  

yea but i got the fuiely heads 49cc which should bump my compression to 11 to 1 i think there 220cc heads to so they can handle the fule the tunnel gives and would it b easier to run a trans brake instead or a stall  

You didn't get those chambers down to 49cc and they aren't 220cc heads.  

the heads are 49cc they were 54cc and the man that macheans are 70000 dollar race truck cut the haeds and out the magazine there 220cc heads i do no what heads i got  

How can you know what heads you have when you're illiterate?

The factory combustion chambers are approximately 64cc, not 54cc - 10cc is an awfully big difference that you "goofed up."

The factory port volume is around 170cc, you didn't increase the port volume by 50cc either.  

listen bro the casting numbers on the head statse the heads are 54cc heads and 220cc flow i had the man cut the heads which u can do and have the paper work on the heads from the shop they floww 220cc and have a combustion chamber of 49cc this aint the first motor i built i no what i have the heads also have been cut to fit the gasket port and polished and the ports inlarged i no what i have i was just cn if anyone new a round about horse power not tell me what i dont have when i have it  

If you could even port 170cc heads to 220cc's, you might just have a 10,000hp small block.....  

First things first, you need to learn how to complete a thought - write a sentence, use some punctuation, use proper grammar, etcetera.

Camel hump heads did not have factory 54cc chambers, most had around 64cc chambers.

How does a head flow a standalone volume? You have a mistake in your units there. That's like saying that my head flows 450 cubic feet.

Port matching surely isn't going to gain 50cc of port volume. You have no idea what's going on inside that engine of yours and I don't know why you'd rather be ignorant of it than listen to someone else's advice...

This person's cylinder heads do not have 49cc chambers, they do not have 220cc runners and he refuses to even look up the numbers let alone trust my knowledge and it's your concern how I'm treating him?

I did read the thread and I think you're right about the specs, but, just because you are both hard headed, doesn't mean insults and name calling are necessary for the rest of us to read. Our members of Congress throw names and insults around all day long and you'll notice they can't get anything done, so they just go on vacation for the 4th of July. Maybe you need one of those. I really do appreciate your technical input, but if you can't get through to someone (along with his buddies), DON'T TALK TO HIM.

If you want to speed up the law-making process go find yourself a dictatorship and get the hell out of this country. I don't just let obviously false information "go." If that bothers some people so be it. If someone thinks they gained 150 horsepower by magically turning their camel hump heads into raised-port AFR heads I'm not going to let them bask in their fake glory. If you have a problem with it, take your approach and do nothing about it!

i also agree wwith you about gib's demeanor on this forum... with that  in mind it is a forum of/for our ideas and words.  gib just has that type of personality and he is free to express it all he wants to on this forum.  it tokk me a while to stop takung his criticisms personally but you do have a choice.  you don't have to read what he writesa and you don't have to respond either.  by you having ongoing arguements with him you arejust playing the game.
