I have a 454 1984 GMC 3/4 ton pickup auto engine has been bored out to 461 cui mild cam higher than a RV cam ? when I floor it runs up about 2800 rpm then act like it is out of fuel have adj carb front brake , no change any suggestions.

What is a carb front brake?
A serious mistake in the float level sounds possible.
