383 or 502 that is the question

Okay guys and girls, Here is the million dollar question!!
Will I still have that same "can't wipe the grin from my face",  if I go with a 480hp 383, rather than the 502 as originally planed.  Big block power and torque have always been the best in my book, but after reading about stroked 383's, maybe be not.
This will be going into a 1968 camaro convertable w/ a tremec 5 speed

Umm.. It's up to you whatever you decide.

You know that the small block will make less power, but there are other considerations that you may concern yourself more with.

Agreed... You really cant ask hot-rodders this. The bb guys will talk crap about the sb guys because they dont put out the power. And the sb guys talk crap about the bb guys because there too heavy. In my opinion, if this will be a daily driver or driven alot, go with the 383. Gobs of torque but you wont break the bank paying for gas. You will just crack it really bad... If its not going to be driven that often and gas wont be a problem, go with the 502 and your cool status will up 10.

how about a 383 with a 671 blower? been running this set up with 350 but it is time for a new motor it's this or a LS1 with the 671. suggestions?

cant beat the look of a blower through the hood. try looking into magnachargers. there very efficient rigs and cost the same as a roots. tad bit smaller blower with the same or even more output. my buddy's got one on his 05 trans am and it screams. he is running efi but you can get pull through carb versions too.
