I'm trying to get a straight answer on making sure a Z has a dash VIN number that 'matches' a trim tag, which matches the engine code.  I thought the last digits of the dash board VIN number should be found in the engine Code 's partial VIN number.  Is there any way to make sure the trim tag, the dash board VIN, and the engine VIN are for the same car.  I'm considering an ebay Z, and want to make sure it's a real Z and not a clone or put-together.
Any info would be appreciated.
