what the heck happened to the my generation camaro??? your gonna leave it with an ignition box and nitrous??? you havent even put subframe connectors on it... what about a bigger engine??? this is so disappointing i was following this religiously and i was hoping/ thinking that you were gonna teach me something and you left the car in the 13s on nitrous... i know you guys can do better then that... how about you go check out www.thirdgen.org and see all the awesome things members are doing with their thirdgens on there... LS1 brakes for one thing, how about making my generation camaro handle and stop like a new one??? how about using used parts and engineering know how to really improve on the great platform that GM built for 10 years? i love CHP and have for years but it seems the you guys may have dropped the ball with this one... just my $.02 but im really dissapointed as of now...

i have wndered the same thing. i have the whole article on my favorites all the installments. but i would rather see them stroke the 305 and put some splayed 4-bolt mains in it and see what a 305 can really do when it is pushed to its limits.

That car hasn't been around for awhile and I couldn't even tell you where it is today. For what it's worth, Nelson has been wrenching on his and you can expect to see more third-gen coverage in upcoming issues. We're also in the midst of building a doorslammer version for the dragstrip - it should make for some good times; pun intended.
