I want to help, but don't expect much in gains compared to the bigger 4" bore.Emission testing? 3.48 stroke 3.50 bore = low rpm mileage engine, but you can squeeze more from it to make it worthwhile and maybe more MPG. WIEDER

i had one in my first car,an 81 caprice 2dr.it was so bad i had to shut off the air con just to make it up a hill.i eventually replaced it with a stock 400 out of a 77 gmc van.threw on a set of headers and dual exhaust and put over 100 thousand miles on it b4 selling it.267 bores are too small to make any considerable improvement in performance.you are better off spending your money on an engine swap, preferably a larger engine to move that Caprice

Gotta agree, the best thing is to yank the 267, and at least replace it with a 305. You could probably find a Caprice car or wagon with a 350, pirate all the necessary parts, and swap that into your car.
