I need help
I am new to this forum but I need help. When I bought the engine that I was going to swap into my 71 Chevelle SS I was told it was a 502. When I bought an intake for it to make it into carb instead of EFI, the intake didn't fit. I looked it up and found that it was a 496.
The problem is that I can't find an intake manifold to put a carb on it. Does anyone know where to get one of those? I looked at LS1 intakes and they would fit besides they wouldn't cover the bottom area that oil goes through. Also does anyone know if it is better or worse than a 502?
