looking for piston ring suggestions for .030 350 lt1 daily driver, forged pistons they have standard ring grooves, chrome moly or plasma? etc

Chrome-moly? No, steel rings are little exotic for a street machine...
That leaves plasma moly! I've always favored plain 'ol Speed Pro rings. File-fit of course.
