heres my problem:
i recently dropped an ls1 in my '90 firebird. everything wired up correctly (as far as we know) and whenever the key is turned to the crank position we lose about 2 volts at the battery. we've hooked up 2 batteries to see if i just need more voltage. same thing happens to both batteries. we ended up plugging it to a scan tool and it was showing the Vehicle Theft Deterrent fuel enable was inactive. ive looked all over the net, and talked to everybody i know about this problem. no one can tell me how to get passed the VTD.
im kinda hoping someone out there can help me out. i know im not the first to attemp this swap, yet no one can get me through this.
any input is greatly appreciated.
