I have been trying to spray some basecoat and the gun will spray stringy floaters all over. Is there a common name for this problem and does anyone know what causes this.

Sometimes under reduction and or to fast of evaporating reducer in a warmer climate will cause this.I've had this happen to me before awhile back if I can trust my memory on this.    WIEDER  

i use a hvlp for base coat  mix your paint well and use slow reducer...
