I just bought a 427 Tall Deck Truck Engine for my 72 Chevelle.  It was rebuilt and stroked to 476.  Block # 473478, 454 Heads # 353049, oval port, 2.06 intake, 1.72 exhaust, 113.0cc.  It came mostly complete but I need to find a few parts before dropping it in.  I need an alternator Bracket, Flexplate, and Starter, and my question is where do I get these?  Are 454 BB chevy parts interchangable?  If not, is there a Cross-reference?  I can't find anyplace that lists parts for this Engine!!  Some help would be greatly appreciated?

Here's my 2 cents:A local parts house like NAPA that are a nationwide store should be able to see if passenger to a C60 2 ton truck part #'s match up.By the way I used to work a autopaint counter for years,don't call instead stand at the counter for this matter.More than likely you'll get better answers.    WIEDER  

Hey I have a 427 and for the alternator bracket and the power steering we used after market brackets and then modified them to fit right. Just get something for a bbc and modify it to fit is going to be your best bet
