I have a Holley 2300 700 cfm, mechnical, double pumper on a sock ZZ4 driving a 5 speed trans.  I have a part throttle stumble at crusing speeds in high gear. I have rejetted the primary from 66 to 63 jets - no change.  Plugs appear slightly rich.  Timing is 36 degrees at 3000 rpm with a base timing of 10 degrees.  Anybody got any suggestions?

A ZZ4 has a mild cam,do you have access to a 600cfm to try?I think your max rpm is around 52-5500rpm with the 208int duration roller.67-68 primary jets in a 600 is good place to start, get a tuning kit they're a good buy compared to buying parts one at a time.Play with accelerator pump cams also,a 6.5-7.5 powervalve should be close to start with. The 700 might be to lazy for your combo.   WIEDER

If it's rich at idle along with the part throttle stumble you may have a blown power valve or wrong power valve.
