i need to know what kind of gasket to use.
i got a first gen SBC crate engine with 5.7 vortec heads from blue print engines . i asked
blue print engines what kind of headers to use
thay said any after market hedder will work.
but do i use vortec gaskets or oval port
i have sbc headers for v8 s10 and there is no
5.7 vortec headers for a v8 s10 this is why i need help.  

The Vortec heads had the same exhaust ports as the regular Gen I small block heads, so a standard small block header gasket will work fine.
