Im building a street strip 69 Nova and was thinking about putting in 4.11's but i still have to drive it on the free way. Is this a good idea or are 3.73 a better idea?

Depends on your trransmission. If you are using a 3 speed automatic then 4.11's on the freeway will be a bit extreme. 3.73's are usually about as low as you want to go for freeway use. If you are using a 4 speed, or especially a 5 or 6 speed then you can get away with 4.11's.

With a 4 speed and 15 inch wheels you are going to Tach around 3000 rpm at 60 MPH. Long rides will be tough on the wallet with gas where it is. The 373 is a good alternative

I agree. I have a 350 bored .060 oer, with a th350 and 4:11's and 31's on the back. I still turn 3000 at about 60-65 mph, and it kills the gas mileage.

I have 3.73's and a 700R4 in my 69 Malibu and it turns right around 1800-2000 on the freeway in OD. 3000+ in 3rd (1/1)
