-holley 750 mechanical secondaries
-edelbrock performer rpm airgap intake aluminium

Tough to say how much power you'll have, but a well built 383 with the right parts will put a C3 Vette into the 11s with no trobule.

Have you assembled the motor yet?If not, invest in a oil pan baffle, crank scraper and windage tray. You can get all three for about $75-100.Could pickup 30 hp or more, easy. No movilg parts on these additions to ever wear out or cause problems Without knowing all of the cam specs,I would GUESS around 450 hp.As far as 1/4 times,What does your car weigh?I am guessing roughly 3400 lbs.450 hp in a 3400 lb car, good tractoin might see an 11 second pass if everything works right.Good luck!!

Don't get your hopes up thinking that you will gain 30 horsepower by reducing windage. At 6000 rpm with a very poor oil pan maybe you will net 15 horsepower but surely not 30. Maybe at 7500 rpm with a stock pan you could get 30 horsepower from scrapers, windage trays, etcetera but efficient aftermarket oil pans can almost completely eliminate these gains. I don't discourage their use but just want you to realize their effectiveness...

Go to page 96 of the May issue and it gives a link to a online dyno. I have a 383 with 190 cc AFR heads and it put me at 449 hp and 12.6 in the quarter. I don't know about the 449 hp but it did do a 12.6 last fall.
