I'm building up a 350 for my 1979 GMC Caballero. I have an edelbrock performer rpm intake and 650 cfm carb on it. I'm looking at either iron eagle heads 64cc chamber 215cc intake runner along with a lunati street master cam with 290/ 297, Lift .490/ .490 or else i'm thinking about going with the performer rpm heads and cam.... the performer package would match perfectly but i'm looking for maximum power with streetability. Can anyone tell me which would be better? Or if there is a better combo out there what is it? I'd appreciate all the help I can get. My friend has a '96 mustang cobra and I need to be able to shove the car up his ass in a race

Go with the Iron Eagle heads, but on the cam, I'd call the Lunati or Comp Cams tech line, tell them the heads you're planning on using, and ask for the best cam that fits what you're looking for.
The Edlebrock cams tend to be a bit mild, that's why I recommend this option. Now, option two is to call Comp Cams, and ask about a set of their RHS aluminum heads and a cam to match that'll give you the performance you're looking for.

Will the RHS heads be a good match with my intake though? I've heard comp cams has an awesome tech line though so maybe I will try that
