I've got a '98 L31 383 with a 485 isky cam and the stock upgraded injectors.  The computer has a custom tune by "PCMS 4 less" and further tweeking by a local shop.  The problem is that it pings at part thottle.  I use premium fuel and 104 octane boost and can get the ping to go away for the most part.  I thing the engine needs more fuel.  Is there a fuel pump out there that can push more fuel?  I know the injectors are only 19# per hour injectors, could this be the problem?  Are there any replacement injectors out there?  Gas prices are killing me, please help.

I don't think it's a fuel supply problem you have. If it was, at full throttle you'd have knocking too when the load on the fuel system is greatest.

I think your problem is in the tune on the computer. Either the timing isn't set right for that situation, or the air/fuel ratio isn't programmed correctly for part throttle. You need to have someone look at the tables and see what it's programmed for.

What net compression are you running?
