I have a 1406 edelbrock carb that I am putting on my 1955 chevy with a 305ci with a turbo 350 trans. There is a slight resistance on the trans detent cable due to the alignment of throttle linkage on the carb in relation to the detent cable mounting bracket. How do most people resolve this issue? Any thoughts?
