I have a 1994 firebird with a V6 engine and I want to build a powerful street/performance V8. I have a good idea of what I need to do if its possible. Im guessing I will need a V8 computer for the car. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanx Confused

What motor did you plan on using? A 350? LT1? LS1?

I am planning on building up a 350 im not sure what engine would work best though. I have a 350 block I was thinking about turning  it into a 383 and putting a nice set of heads and intake on and making it into throttle body injection. I don't know if you can tell me if a LT1 would work better or maybe the LS1. or if the difficulty level of swapping these would be about the same. Thanx COPCAR

I've been working on the same thing.  '95 with 3.4 ltr.  I'm actually building a stroker motor for it.  Mine's going to have a regular carb instead of fuel injection so I don't have to bother with a computer.  Below is a good site that has great advise regarding the swap.

Good Luck.
