I'm trying to buy this motor from a guy for a good deal I just need help identifying it.
Numbers on the block are: #T0204CTK #12R536598 #OONV2
Thats all it says
Its a chevy and he says 350 but not sure.

The T0204CTK makes me want to say it was made on feb 4th and is a 1974 400. can't find anything on the other numbers.

The T02004CTK. T is the plant 0204 means February 4th date CTK identifies the engine and transmission. I don't know what CTK is. 12R536598 is the car type and number in sequence. Try to find an 8 digit number on the back of the block

According to Nastyz28, their list shows three uses for CTK 1)72 307ci auto 130hp 2bbl used in A F or X bodies 2) 74 400ci auto 4bbl in a caprice/police,taxi 3) 78 305ci 145hp 2bbl in F X bodies The rest is Tonawanda plant on feb 4th. The cast number on the bellhousing flange may help narrow it down some but it looks like it's not a 350.
