Hi, I am putting together a C4 Vette for street/strip. I want to drive there (90 mile) race and drive back. It has the 2.whatever baby Dana axle. It is stripped out
Engine is 355, 282 cam, predator on a Weiend with a 100 shot Sniper inbetween. Sportsman2 heads and a 'glide probably with a transbrake..
Question is, what axle, Ford 8 or 9in or 12 bolt GM?
I was putting a Jag irs 3.5 powrlok in but then I opened my ears to advice after I got nos.
I am in the UK so parts are harder to find. 12 bolt 4.1 with a spool is favorite at the moment.  

4 link axle going in. It is a 68 10 bolt Camaro with 4.1, Moser spool and half shafts. I will put C4 brakes on it.
