Well... I've found some 882 Cylinder Heads, and I was wanting some more information on them... the goods and the bads of it.   And also... would they be good for drag racing.  If you guys have any information on it, I would really like to know... thanks in advance.

882 castings are about as bad as they get for performance, smog heads from the 70's. The two center exhaust ports run into the heat riser and really hurt flow. Don't let the 1.94" intake valve fool you, those heads were never meant for horsepower. I'm afraid I don't have much in the positive column.

Yeah, not what you want for any drag racing.

If you're on a budget but want decent heads, see if you can find a set of L98 Corvette aluminum heads.

Summit has aluminum heads  for around  $750, the fast burn were a little cheaper, but they need a different intake than the standard sbc.

882's have a bad rep. 441 castings are better if you can find them{less prone to cracking}. Since you have them, here is a very good combination for a 350. First check inside your runners for casting flash, seems to be common on those heads. Use flat top pistons go for a zero deck height. Comp cams 280H. Torker 2 intake. 650 holley. HEI ignition. Run 1.6 rockers on the exhaust. 1 5/8" headers. Minimum 2200 stall. 3.73 gear+. Buy all of it used of of ebay. Cheap 380hp +or- Don't run it hot.
