hi a buddy of mine gave me a set of heads to build my next project i was looking for a set of (L69h.o) heads (416) for my 305 but after i got the heads ang cleaned them up i saw that they where 2 diffrent numbers one was a ho head that i was looking for 14014416 but the other one is a 14014418 and i cant find any listings anywhere for it but i think that it's a (LG4)heads does anybody know this ? and do you know the diffrence between the two ? will i have to look for another set or can i machine them to get what i want ?  

The ports are probably gonna be different between the two, so you'll need to find a matching head for one of the ones you've got, or just invest in a good set of aluminum heads.  

so what is the best way to check if the ports arethe same size ? i can get a set of 418 right now but they are bare and this is a buget build (not much cash left after buildng the 1st monte )
are the 418 as good as the 416 ?
