i plan on putting it in a 67 impala that i customized for drag racing..ive always liked small blocks and thats what im best with and big blocks just cost to much to build..so trying to squeeze all the power i can out of the 400

No spending limit? All the horsepower you can? Sounds too good to be true...

We need to know really what this thing is going to be used for. You customized a car for drag racing? That's an interesting way of putting it, but you need to explain how this car is customized a LOT more thoroughly.

well i dont want to run a supercharger...i customized the car with a 4 link and ladder bar setup, floater rearend, full cage, slicks, car had a 572 bb in it with 700 hp but i let my cousin take it down the strip once he ran it perfectly fine till 5th gear and he was so excited he was leading he forgot to shift and blew the motor...i salvaged what i could from the 572 and got an estimate price and sold it, with the money from that and some money i already had i have around 300,000 dollars but can spend more.
