I'd like to see more full tilt race engines.Also some fullsize trucks,preferebly older models,and even some 4x4s.Hey,how about some GASSERS!!!!

The remark is always made "pick a cam to match your heads". I would like to see an article that tells you how you would match one with the other.Flow #s to lift #s? Not something simple like "don't put a huge cam with stock heads". Something like "a BBC aftermarket alum. oval port head would be best with this these cam sizes & rect port etc.

I would like to see CHP build a all around performance car. "Other" magazines have built a car that has become iconic to their magazine (for exampel Project X). I know for a fact CHP could do that. This would make great entertainment. Let the readers vote on what mods to put on th car. Jeff.

It's really up to the editors if we have a voting thing. They read the forums so hopefully they will see your idea and maybe mention it or come up with something of their own

Take any typically modified combo that uses headers and y-pipes and do an A/B comparison with an upgrade to a true dual system with emphasise on secondary size and length. That may give us some real world insights into header tuning and improvements that can be achieved after the header selection has been made. Maybe even a look at how a shorty style header compares to an LT design.

I agree with a lot of the other guys replies, we need more stuff on cars built after 72,just becuase that was the end of the muscle era with the manufactuers, it didn't mean the need for speed, was dead. I think 73-77 Chevells/malibu's/Elc's were as good looking, if not better looking than some of the earlier A-bodies. What about the G-bodies? It wouldn't hurt if the after markets would start popping out some replacement parts for these cars,especially in the interior dept, the sun really does a number on the plastic pieces. One other reader brought up the 'Monza Spyder', as in mid-to-late 70's pocket rockets. My first car to drive was a 77 Spyder, who said a 305 couldn't move out, that little car would smoke both tires all the way into third, with a single track diff, thats torque. It had a speedo that registered 125, if you had the balls to do it, it would circle back to over 40, you guess that speed! Yes it was bone stock and my mother was the little old lady the drove it before me. I am a Chevy guy all the way, but sometimes it gets boring hearing about another Chevelle(64-72),Nova(62-72),Camero(67-73). How hard is it to build one of these cars when all the parts are sitting on a shelf waiting to go. Lets see something different like a 73 laguna, swivel buckets and all.

I just wanted to say that I have been reading this thread and I appreciate the input. We're working on several things for the upcoming issues and lets just say that you can expect to see many of your ideas come to life in print.
As for project cars - its been awhile since we've done one and well, we finally brought in a couple of fresh ones. The FNG is working on a '66 Elco which was purchased as a decent roller for $3k and I've recently closed a deal on a '73 Camaro. If there's a certain direction you would like to see our projects go - now's the time to voice your opinions.

How about some info on old school Hilborn fuel injection units for SBC & BBC applications. How to tune them for the street. Electronic upgrades and the companys that do so.

I'll probably get kicked off the site for that,no big deal.At least I'm not the immature,middle-school-acting cowards that laugh and giggle and hide behind initials.Forgive me for cussing.But printing the initials is NO BETTER or CLEANER than what I did.Every time you make us read that we KNOW what you are to chicken *** to print.At least I got the guts to say what I want,and not have to resort to childish enduendos.I apologize again,but ya'll started it.I'll be expecting an e-mail from your lawyers or something.Thanks for listening
