what specs are you after? i own one and have general specs from the parts list. if you need more, i'm sure you can get them from the dealer.
PS i did a quick search at GMPP web site and came up dry.

Yeah I did the same thing and even called GM. No Spec manual is made for that engine... I guess you just set up like a normal BB chevy. I was looking for things like, piston cylinder clearance, ring end gap, main and rod to journal clearances, thrust spec. Main tork, rod tork...? I guess I will set it up with other known BB chevy specs. Thanks for the help...

You could probably get what you need by using the 8.1L manual. they have to be close. I do have the torque specs though.

all of the high performance motors are built mostly by hand at a remote gm tech site...
there have been articals written on it.. and i have fogotten its name... a direct call would probably get the specs for it that you want....

Thanks...thats about what I thought and have used on other BBC's in the past...I guess ring gap set to .022 on #1 ring, .024 on 2nd ring will be ok too...Main thrust set @ .008 +/- .001 is ok???? What should piston to cylinder clearance be for SRP pistons?????????????

The main thrust is tight, but not too. The ring gap and piston clearance depends on the type of piston. Forged, cast or hypereutectic, the information you want should have been with the pistons.
