350s-dime boring your engine will not increase HP its done to make the cylinders new again and requires new oversize pistons. There will be a slight gain in compression but its very small gain

355 is the most common 350 rebuild just a 030 overbore and you have 355 put a 3.75 stroke now you have 383.they are all the same block and use all the same parts as the 350 only some of the internals are slightly different

Its easier to sell an engine with a name like that! Besides with some stock ported heads it makes a nice street engine.

The Comp 280[.480 lift] is a popular cam for the engines we sell and it does have a very nice sound and makes decent power

I live in Calif and have been looking for a CARB approved performance camshaft. So with that being said it would go to smog test in my location every other year.

That suxs! I dont have to worry about that. Couldnt you use a stock or CARB approved cam for the test then change it to the one you want until it was time for another test?

Not worth the hassle every other year. Now here in Calif they have road side teams on the on ramp to freeways and on streets. You drive through the traps they have out on the street. It reads your emissions when you drive through. If your emissions are to high you get a notice in the mail to take your vehicle to a DMV reff. They take a pic of each and every car LC plate that drives through the trap.Thats how they contact you if your emissions are too high.
