Hi, new to the forums here, been a magazine subscriber for quite sometime and belong to many camaro forums. I own an 82 Z-28 that is white with silver ground effects and t-tops. I have owned the car for the past 23 years. I put it up in 1988 to start a restification on it. It took 5 years before I got the car back on the road and it has been a constant evolution ever since. The original 305 died, then I put a 350 in it, rebuilt it 5 years ago to a mild built 355 with a turbo 350 trans, now I am getting the parts together for a stock 400 with the stock bottom end and ARP hardware throughout with the new Patriot Super Street 215 heads, retro hydraulic roller camshaft from Trick Flow, full roller rockers, Air Gap intake and 750 Holley. With the high price of gas starting a few years ago, I switched over to a built 700R-4 trans with a 3000 stall converter and a rebuilt stock 10 bolt rear that has a Torsen posi unit with 3.73 gears and Moser axles and a MAC stud girdle cover. I have C-5 front brakes and the parts for PBR rear discs and complete aftermarket suspension components front and rear as well as loweered. Interior is maroon and still original right down to the carpet albeit, I have an aftermarket steering wheel and Auto Meter gauges and a B+M Mega shifter. I'm a 52 year old teenager who has always loved cars, I married, have 2 grown children and 5 grandkids. I am looking forward to some great info from here as well as offering any help I can give.
