It depends...

If you have a carb car you have to rejet the carb to give approx 30% more fuel.
And raise the ignition oppr 3 degrees. Call Edelbrock they have an E85 carb.

on a injection car you can raise the fuel pressure with an adjustable fuel regulator. That allows the conputer to reach correct lambda. If you can raise the ign to increase the milage there is no law here so you have to do some trial and error to see what is the best setting on your engine.

Well it`s not that hard to make the car run on E85. And if you want to supercharge it is superior to "dino fuel".

Here in sweden both Volvo and SAAB are making cars that run on E85 and they sell.

SAAB:s models is called BIOPOWER and as with all SAAB:s they are turbocharged.

The 2.3 litre is making 180bhp on Gas and 210bhp on E85

FORD is making them too they are called flexifuel.

Can`t chevy hi performance do some articles on supercharging on E85? It would be real nice.

I have some links to Swedish dragrace sites and there is some REAL knowledge there but it is in Swedish.....

Thanks! Im looking forward on some articles

The main thing is to see the possibilities not the obstacles. One more good thing is that people are getting aware of that you dont HAVE to drive on gas, there are alternatives.
