I have a 79 camaro with at pretty agressive 350 in her ,i would say like 300 horsepower.I have blown 2 10bolt rearends on her so far ,so i am thinking of upgrading the rearend to something a little stronger.I am on a budget ,to many other projects to get to.I was wondering what would be a good swap for my camaro.

Without checking which 10 bolt you have, I need to ask you which one you have. Is it the 8.5 inch? If not, I would find one with the right width for your car and see what has to be done to mate up the rear suspention. Other than that, I know no cheap solution to your problem. JB

Wow man. Grenading one 8.5" 10-bolt with 300hp is tough to do, nevermind two. What exactly are you doing with it? Is this a drag car with slicks that you launch at 5000rpm?

I will have to agree with Woody. A decent 8.5 10 bolt will take alot of abuse. Do you know if your pinion angle is way off? Don't give up on the factory rear ends. They are a great unit. I have ran them for the last 15 years behind some pretty radical small blocks. Good luck..Johnny
