Hi all. Can anyone tell me what would be needed to convert an 88 350 TBI engine to carb . So I can just put an old quadrajet on it . Or something .
And what would I need to do to keep The TBI if I put this engine in my 68.
Thanks for any help.

Not much.I just put an 86'carbed 305 in my 87'-first yr for TBI in Chev.truk.All bout how fancy u wanta get.I didnt want to cut out any ECM wires,so i pulled'em outa the way and wrapped'em in electrical tape.Looks real bad for the time bein but it works.Youll need a distributor out an older chev.I used the 1 for the 80' 454 Im buildin for the truck.Vacuum advance. There is no crank sencor in those TBI's, so the ECM will not cut you off.Later if u want TBI again ,buy the correct parts and there u go.Wires still intact.
