A bunch.I know 350-400 with no significant premature wear problems do to over stressing the block. If u have any real concernes,Take the 2bolter to a good machinest, havem put splayed mains in.Then she'll take bout all any aftermarket parts can make.Cost a little pocket cash but,but no worries after.

back in the day when the 327 was the biggest sbc motor made and they only had 2 bolt mains, they used to routinely get 750 h.p. at the drag race's.you can get four bolt caps for a 2 bolt block(they are stronger that way)and install them your self and then have it align honed or bored to finish the set upthey come in a kit with the drill bit and bushing for alignment.you can get 5 four bolt caps or four caps or three four bolt caps.you can get them striaight or you can get slayed caps anywhere, eagle specialty co.,ebay racer's outlet, pro comp electronics is very cheap.they are a new outlet and price's are cheap for cranks, billet caps, rods pistons, heads, intakes, ignitions, you name it.i have bought some things from them with no problems.coleman and milodon also have have them.you install them yourself then spend about $175.00 to have the align honing done.you can get three straight caps for as little as $55.00-$80.00 or as much for splayed caps as $250.00.
