I was wondering if i could put a 100hp shot of nitrous on a chevy high performance spec 406 w/ the vortec heads and also what stall converter to run with the motor.  The motor is rated at 430hp and 525 tq under 5000rpm

This what the motor is going in to

1979 Chevy Fullsize Pickup
3/4 ton 4x4
10 bolt front limited slip w/4.10
14 bolt rear gov-lock 4.10
th400 w/ shift kit
203 transfer case
9" of lift and 38.5x11.00x16.5 boggers

with the possiblility of going to 39.5 boggers and 4.56 gears and a dana 60 front

I mostly use the truck to tow and do mud drags and bogs.

If memory serves me right u can put up to a 125 shot on an engine in good shape without changing internal components just make sure 2 buy a new kit and follow the directions and it should be fine
