Hey everyone,

I was recently in a real bad car accident and it got me wondering, how many of you out there have been in accidents? How bad was it? was the car totaled?

Well my car happened to be totalled. It was a spare care thankfully but after rolling the car 4 times it was pretty much never to be driven again. Ill be posting a blog about it soon so keep a look out!  

I've been in two accidents, but they weren't as bad as yours. My vehicle was not totalled either time but the other persons was both times. Not my fault either time thank god. It pays to drive large vehicles they saved me twice.  

I actually have a lifted chevy silverado but i was driving a small hyundai to save me gas money on my quest for arizona. I have to say those cars are pretty dang safe. If you guys have kids and want them in a safe car, I would look into one. I smashed that car to pieces and walked away with one scratch on my arm that looks more like carpet burn.  

You got lucky... thats for sure. You really did  

Your telling me,  i look back at the pictures now and i cant even begin to imagine..



 

Crashes are never fun, but its always good to hear when people can walk away from them.

As for me, I've had my fair share, however the worst was:

In college I slammed my (hangs head in shame) 5.0L Mustang, into a palm tree. The road was slick, I hit a dip in the road and while I was close to regaining control, it swung out too far on the last swing and pitched me passenger side first into it. Fortunately, I was the only one in the car because the entire floorboard came up to the roofline! Worst, I ended up hitting my head on the steering wheel and shattering my zygomatic arch.

I won't get into the details on crashing motorcycles, but I will say my last ride out at the dunes caused a compressed spine and a fractured L1. Fun, huh?  

No crashes are never fun but i did somewhat joke about it after. I kept saying it was the wildest and most expensive roller coaster i have ever been on!



I find it amusing that were here on the chevy site yet i was driving a Hyundai and you a Ford, It's alright though, my primary driver is a chevy!


Thank goodness there was no one in the car with you or that could of ended way worse..
