i am building a 1971 chevy truck and i have a 427 ready to go in it can anyone recomend what the best tranny would be for that engine is pretty much stock for now thanks for any help

I would go with a turbo 400 trans. A th350 May hold up now, but you said stock for now and I know what that means. A turbo 400 will be strong enough to hold up after the mods start.
