Yep that’s right I got me a new toy. I was going through craigslist and found a 1974 Chevy El Camino for $1200. She has a new rebuilt 350 SBC, TH350 Trans and stock geared rear end. Interior wise she is good. She needs a new dash cover, which the guy gave to me. Her exterior is a little rough to look at because the hood, grill, and headlight bezels are bent up but the guy gave me a new fiberglass 2" cowl induction hood and all the new front end stuff to make her look pretty again but she has potential. She is primer gray right now which needs to be all sanded down and I am going to primer black it for now until next tax season which then my wife says that I can give her a new paint job. She has old school American Mag rims (15's in back and 13's up front) on it, which I think are pretty cool looking so they are going to stay on. I will post up my first set of before pics later on I need to get my camera cord back from my friend. I cannot wait to start tearing into this girl cause she is gong to be fun to work on. And the best part is NO SMOG for me buddies.... lol
