Why didn't GM take a hint from Honda and supply "Dealer installed performance options" Take off all the bells and whistles and they would build cars that America wants and can afford. Reply to often asked question, "why did they make it so hard to work on it?" Answer, They don't want you working on your own car!" M2C

a flat-tappet camactually has greater initial acceleration, meaning it will attain higher lift more quickley than a roller cam, before the roller reaches its maximum velocity-which means running a flat-tappet setup can actually be better choice when running a cam with a little shorter duration figures.-john nelson,chevy high performance march 2008. which is what i thought he was looking for in that engine he wanted to build. im sure its prob.not that big of a diff. and rollers are better i wasnt trying to say they werent.
