I'm looking for info on the GMPP SBC Vortec 'high rise'intake manifold - part # 12366573.
I'll be installing this with the new Vortec L31 heads on my Gen-I 350 build.
The question I have is on hood clearance with this manifold, carb and air intake.
I currently have a Weiand 3000 aluminum dual plane manifold on top of my old 882 heads. The Weiand is rpm power band 1500 to 6500.This manf was last produced in '81.
Aluminum dual plane listed as 'street/strip manifold. Weiand tech people were no help at all - shocking, I know! (insert sarcasm)
I'm looking for height dimensions on the 12366573 as opposed to the Weiand. I'm not sure if the Weiand is considered a 'high rise' or not. Not sure what the height ranges are for this designation (high rise).
I'm also looking for rpm power band info and more technical specs on the gmpp manifold. I have been able to find much on-line other than sales info for this part.
Thanks.
